Part timers are not entitled to leave, what should I do to reflect the balance as 0?


1. Navigate to eLeave > Leave Setup > Setup Grades.

  • Under ‘Grade Code’ & ‘Grade Description’ input ‘Part_Timer’. 
  • Click Update.JPG at the bottom of the page to save.


3. Navigate to eLeave > Leave Setup > Setup Entitlement Policy.

  • Under ‘Set up days earned for grade’ select ‘Part_Timer’.
  • Under ‘Annual Entitlement’ the values should already be 0. If not, input 0 under ‘First Year’ and the rest will change automatically.
  • Click Update.JPG at the bottom of the page to save.


5. Navigate to eLeave > Leave Admin > Set Entitlement.

6. Assign Grades

  • Search for the part timer’s name.
  • Under ‘Grade’, select ‘Part_Timer’ for the required staff.
  • Under ‘Balance As at’ and ‘Yearly Entitlement’ column, input ‘0’.
  • Click Update.JPG at the bottom of the page to save.


7. For future part timers, when creating a new user in eAdmin, you may assign the ‘Grade’ during the setup process instead.
